There’s great local produce available on Bryher as well as good pub food, award-winning restaurants and plenty of fresh seafood.

Honesty Stalls at Hillside Farm, Dawnvue and Veronica Farm sell fresh island produce, vegetables, eggs, salad, strawberries, jam, locally grown herbs, homemade chutneys and fudge. Hillside farm stall is the closest to The Moorings and also offers its own island pork and beef, which can be reserved.

Island Fish sell freshly caught fish and shellfish daily. Crab, lobster, mackerel, ready-made lobster and crab rolls and delicious homemade crab quiche to take away. Thursday night is takeaway paella night which you can take back to your cottage or eat whilst sitting on the beach to watch the sun go down.

Fraggle Rock serves teas, coffees and lunches all day down near The Bar quay.  In the evening servinglocal Bryher crab linguine, mussels, homemade lasagne, burgers, rib eye steak all served with top beers, wines, spirits and an excellent atmosphere. Take away baked potatoes can be pre-ordered and Friday night is Fish and Chip night

The Crab Shack is a rustic shed laid out with wooden benches simply serving Bryher crab, mussels, and scallops fresh from the sea served with crusty bread, olives and wine. Visitors are invited to crack open their own crabs wearing crab shack aprons. Prepare to get messy! Booking essential.

Supper Boats will take you to Tresco for dinner at the New Inn, Flying Boat Bar and Bistro or Ruin Beach Cafe on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (The boat costs £7 per person).
